Tutto scorre, tutto gira, tutto funziona, finch\u00e9 resti obbediente al tuo posto sulla linea. Io volevo vedere cosa succede quando quel nastro si ferma, anche solo per un momento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Come potremmo vivere e lavorare insieme allora? Forse un po\u2019 di provincialismo. B come seconda scelta, B come peso, B come bullshit. Oggetti che rendono la vita pi\u00f9 pesante, non pi\u00f9 leggera.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Inquinatori, ingordi, guerrieri e fanatici, tutti a bordo della B-Ark, come direbbe Douglas Adams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ogni elemento su quella linea \u00e8 una sorta di totem, un simbolo di ci\u00f2 che l\u2019Occidente \u00e8 diventato:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La fede come prodotto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L\u2019energia come moneta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La violenza come routine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il consumo come religione.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il potere come posa, rifinito come una siepe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns are-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-65deacd7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\" style=\"padding-top:20px;padding-bottom:20px\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il materiale: Nero Marquinia, quel marmo nero profondo, quasi scuro quanto il petrolio americano \u2014 solo molto pi\u00f9 costoso al barile. Bush era presidente. L\u2019America parlava di libert\u00e0 mentre sganciava bombe, di fede mentre pompava petrolio, di democrazia mentre imponeva mercati \u2014 iniqui e servili verso i ricchi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Io stavo nel mio piccolo atelier a Carrara e pensavo: questa \u00e8 la vera Assembly Line, una via di pellegrinaggio di simboli che nessuno vede pi\u00f9, perch\u00e9 sono diventati troppo normali per essere notati.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns are-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-7387b849 Pi\u00f9 veloce, pi\u00f9 levigata, pi\u00f9 spietata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le mani sono state sostituite da algoritmi e robot, la linea dai dati, la fede ribattezzata Update 2.0. Ma i simboli non sono cambiati, \u00e8 solo il packaging a essere diventato pi\u00f9 accattivante.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A volte, quando guardo le vecchie foto della scultura, penso: forse questa A-Line non \u00e8 mai stata una linea di produzione, ma la nostra dannazione, il nostro destino.
