The ceremony at Carrara’s town hall was a beautiful moment. Giovanna Bernardini, the city’s Cultural Affairs Officer, led the ceremony with a warm and empathetic speech, quoting words from Wolfgang G. that underlined the significance of this day for us as a couple, punk-rock style.
We were truly moved. Surrounded by our family and our closest friends, who have been with us for years: Kathrin Bommes, Flavia Bellavia, Christian Nestor Ibáñez, and Eric Frank (❤️). Their presence gave us strength, which we would definitely need. It was a moment of tradition in the midst of an otherwise thrilling day. Dominik, feeling nervous and lost in the Italian marriage procedures, only managed to say “Si!” after a gentle nudge from his future spouse.
After the official ceremony, we went with our guests to our studio, Fac Fronteacciaiocromato, to continue the celebration in a way that truly suited us. That’s just FAC. Here, the celebration transformed into a Bondage performance, symbolizing our values of trust, devotion, and deep emotional connection. Sarca Luca Martello and Giuly Winter joined us with an impressive performance that filled the space with tension and yes, even pain. Our friends and guests, including many of the city’s creative souls and students from the academy, were captivated and completely entranced.
Photographer Sama Sbrissa captured all these moments, perfectly capturing the interplay too between formal celebration and artistic freedom. In one photo, you can see the bride, Stefanie, binding Dominik in a pose full of trust and devotion, with enchanted “power ropes” intended to secure the bond of our souls.

Even though our ceremony might seem unusual to some, it was the perfect way for us to celebrate our love with one foot in old tradition and the other in the world of art and pirate freedom. The presence of our family, our witnesses, and all the special people in our lives made this day a fantastic experience. We are deeply grateful for these memories and for the love and support surrounding us.
This day remains an indelible chapter in our story, just as we wanted it to be. Love and art, etched into the minds of all those who experienced it with us. The next morning, we rode off on the old Suzuki DR 650R for our honeymoon.
